Wicken Fen

Today I went to Wicken Fen to see the wintering Great Grey Shrike. I eventually saw it. I also saw many Cetti's Warblers which was an extra.

On the way home I saw a pair of Short-eared Owls.

Tom,

Well done on a cracking website and great sketches. I really like the short eared owl, it shows real flair. You must do a sketch after the next WEX meeting and you can plug the Fowlmere bullfinches on your site. Impressive bird list too!

Well done with the owl drawings, Tom. I am partial to the perched owl myself. Not sure why it just "speaks to me". Keep it up, you've got the beginnings to a real talent here.

Best wishes from Arizona
